Who we are

“Big Rob” Also known as Robert Joseph Deist, was my father. Born May 11^th, 1967. He was a big man with a big heart for nature and a more self-sustained way of life.

With this big man came a big appetite when it came to dinner! My father once told me, “The one thing everyone in the world can agree on is a good bite to eat. And feeding yourself should also feed your soul.”

He also believed in the power of the human race when we work as a community. Which is why I aim to always acquire ALL my ingredients from locally here in the beautiful White Mountains, the mountain my father fell in love with both the nature and the people who inhabit it.

So with that in mind, my passion is bringing nutrition to your soul as well as your body and give you a true taste of the White Mountains. Something to make that picky “sometimes vegan” Aunt Sally from New York go- “ I just MUST have that recipe!”
